Rosa canina Fruit Oil is ALSO KNOWN AS Dog rose
DESCRIPTION: The dog rose is by far the most common wild rose species in Central Europe. Its elongated, red fruits are called rosehips. Rosehip oil is extracted from their seeds.
APPLICATION: Garden lovers like to decorate their lawns and garden hedges with those lovely, sweet-smelling bushes. But dog roses are also traditional medicinal plants. They were already used by Hippocrates due to their antiinflammatory properties.
EFFECT: Rose canina oil is rich in essential fatty acids and antioxidants, which are integral for tissue and cell regeneration in the skin. The oil of the dog rose can make the skin supple and smooth. It is particularly suitable for the treatment of dry, flaky and cracked skin, eczema and psoriasis, as well as the treatment of burns, injuries and scars.
